Can I change the location of the base station? How do I do that?

The Base Station relocation feature allows you to adjust the position of the Base Station to optimize the mowing robot's working range and enhance coverage efficiency.
 

When to Use Base Station Relocation Feature

  • After winter, reinstall the base station.
  • The original location is not suitable for installing a base station; the base station location needs to be changed.
  • The base station was accidentally moved, which caused the robot to lose its way back to the base station.
  • The base station has been moved to a non-lawn area, such as a driveway, garage, or garden shed, so the robot cannot leave the station and reach the lawn on its own.
 
There are two situations when relocating the Base Station: relocate the Base Station on the lawn and off the lawn.
 

Key Steps of Relocating the Base Station On the Lawn

1. Take out the robot from the Base Station.

2. Disconnect the power.

3. Move the Base Station to the new lawn spot.

5. Redock the robot to the Base Station.

Operation On the APP

1. Make sure the robot is in the Base Station.
2. Click the map-editing icon.
3. Select "Base station setting" and select "Relocate base station" on the APP.

4. Then select "on or near the lawn".
5. Tap "Start".

Once the locating is done, the new Base Station location will update on the map. 
 

Key Steps of Relocating the Base Station Off the Lawn

1.Take out the robot from the Base Station.

3. Move the Base Station to the new spot off the lawn.

Operation On the APP

1. Click the map-editing icon.
2. Select "Base station setting" and select "Relocate base station" on the APP.

3. Then select "Not on the lawn".
4. Click "Next" and "Connect to Bluetooth".
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a pathway (up to 60m/196ft) from the base station to the lawn.

Once the locating is done, the new Base Station location will update on the map. Then the robot will return to the Base Station after it finishes the new mapping.
 
Tips:
  1. It should be a flat pathway.
  2. Width of pathway >60cm (23.6").
  3. Walk behind the robot when creating the pathway to make sure of a good connection.
